TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR WORLD
There is something I’ve come across several times and just sort of let it
go by … but now it’s coming up again and I can’t let it go by this time …
I thought I was dealing with just “me” and thinking I’m only responsible for what I
think and do … but I see that was sort of a false comfort zone which
let me off the hook for taking responsibility for ALL of my world …
This is the statement that I’ve resisted time and time again …
“We are responsible for EVERYTHING in our world” …
Wow! … to accept that EVERYTHING I’m aware of is a reflection
of something in me … and must be faced and met in me! …
All of my spiritual life … I have been dwelling on ONENESS …
ONE ONE ONE …
and that ONE … the One I am is the same ONE every ONE is …
and that ONE is GOD … PURE UNCONDITIONED SPIRITUAL ENERGY AWARENESS …
and forms in THAT IMAGE AND LIKENESS …
So EVERYTHING that we’re aware of
is truly God Consciousness formed and expressed …
and yet we’re constantly faced with material mortal images appearing as
“person,” “place,” “thing,” “circumstance” and “condition” …
and we have to take responsibility for ALL OF IT …
I remember reading an article about Mary Baker Eddy and someone
asked her if she was wealthy … her reply was “not as long as I see one poor person” …
So we’re all carrying around rich and poor conditioning … sick and well…
young and old … all the pairs of opposites .. while God’s pure changeless
unconditioned Nature is being individual Consciousness …
As human beings, we’re born into a state of good and evil conditioning
and live out from that until at some point something within alerts us
and we begin the wake-up journey …
As we grow and become unconditionally Aware,
we let go of old imposed conditioned beliefs of good and evil, right and wrong …
who we are and who we aren’t …
what is and what isn’t …
We’re becoming more Consciously Aware and living out from
clear judgment-free Space …
While we’re living more consciously, there is still unconscious stuff
that continues to pop up and kick in …
We recognize that stuff as old debris from past conditioning
and we don’t take it personally …
but meet it with love (Love is the realization of ONE) …
knowing it’s no part of our authentic Divine Nature …
There is a book title I came across that struck me …
“Feelings Buried Alive Never Die” …
There is no escape from facing every facet of our world …
and bringing it to Light …
Coming to terms with ONE WORLD, God’s Kingdom … and
dealing with “this world” while not being of it … is the work …
We keep the activity of truth alive
in our Consciousness …
I and my Father are one … God is Law …
God constitutes individual being …
There is no time or place where God is not …
Abiding in truth is meeting appearances with Light and Love
which dispels conditioning and judgments …
I think this is the way to take responsibility for everything in our world …
bringing the Light to bear on all that is in the moments of our life … xoxo

One with God is a majority is my favorite Joel quote Anna. My Vedante teacher Dhyanum answered a question I had when I was 16. I asked her if we had to go “within” to find God. Meaning do we have to meditate to find Him. She got a lovely smile on her face, waved her hands in a circle toward the heavens, and said “We are within”. It was such an astounding moment for me, because I caught the powerful message. (She was a devotee of Vivekananda). What a relief to realize that although the Kingdom of Heaven is within, that we are within. Synonymous with Joel’s beautiful messages of truth, I would thereafter make a conscious mental effort/decision to greet others with “I salute the God within you” and watch the most beautiful events unfold thereafter, and revel in the concept of holy ground, especially in the competitive business world. How wonderful that you live in and understand this place. It truly is living as Joel calls it “between two worlds”, a bit like a massive play ground, such fun,and so many revelations. It is a consciousness without limitations and exquisite. The challenge was to balance it within the physical world. I always found thereafter to see everything as God manifesting as form; it worked for me, it even neutralized the so named “negative” things. Dhyanum said that there is nothing wasted before God. Everything is useful and has it’s place before God. Like Joel says, it is our our duty to develop this consciousness so as to be a light unto others. even to think that God is within is a sense of separation …
there is no “without” separate from a “within” …
illusory divisions are so subtle … we are the within …
there is no where to go to get to God and there is no where to go to get away from God …
