IT’S ABOUT TIME !!!
A Glimpse into the Timeless Moment
This blog is coming out of an explosion in me
dispelling the belief in time …
It was a quote by Tom Carpenter
that set this “time” bomb off …
An alarming world of hours … tick tock! tick tock!
We’ve been strangled by the hands of an imaginary clock!
There Is No Time!
No time to Lose …
No time to find … No time to fill
No time to fly … No time to kill
Time and again we’ve been told that there is no time …
Yet there seems to have been many years of struggling,
trying to “be here now”… to “stay in the moment” …
“stay focused … don’t let appearances entice
pay attention … that’s the price
no wandering off … no distractions allowed
it’s our attention … keep it nowed”
Over and over there’s been a wrestling with “this” moment …
trying to see through appearances and separateness …
trying to be aware of God as inseparable from this moment …
A belief in time
And evil and good
Are myths that constitute
Humanhood
What’s behind the highs and lows
And everything that comes and goes?
The quest for the changeless has pushed me on …
Closer than breathing … it must dawn
Some of you might remember a TV show called Dragnet
with Jack Webb … he was always solving crimes and
interviewing witnesses who would ramble on and on
with their version of what happened …
I remember him continuously saying …
“JUST THE FACTS, MAAM!
JUST THE FACTS!”
That’s what I wanted …. not elaborate tales …
JUST THE FACTS!
“WHO AM I! WHO AM I NOT!
WHAT IS! WHAT ISN’T!”
At some point someone gave me a copy of
Practicing the Presence by Joel Goldsmith
and I was home …
His writings, THE INFINITE WAY,
reveal the “facts” in a language
that resonate with me …
the nature of God
the nature of man
the ONENESS of God and man
the nature of appearances
the clarification of living between “two” worlds …
God’s Kingdom …
and “this world”- a world of appearances …
appearances of persons, places, things, circumstances and conditions that are
all concepts stemming from the hypnotic belief in a mythical two-power tree
with knowledge of good and evil
and an illusory finite self who ate of that tree
and is living a false sense of existence …
this conceptual world is a world of mental images
and like the mirage on the desert
the images are never externalized reality …
Consistently living and practicing these principles,
chewing on them and letting them digest
and become flesh of our flesh and bone of our bone …
is “dying daily”… as Joel Goldsmith puts it,
dispelling a false conditioned finite sense of self …
leading to the realization of the one true Nature …
I’m so very grateful for The Infinite Way teaching …
to find a Voice and recognize it as your own is indeed a blessing …
everyone is led to their own Voice within …
Okay … we’re getting to the quote I mentioned
that prompted this blog …
I happened upon it and was struck by shock waves
that have jolted and shaken me to my roots …

in the reality of God’s eternity,
this moment you are in
is the same moment Creation began
and will eternally exist exactly as it is.
Thoughts will come and go,
bodies seem to appear and disappear;

and this moment will remain eternally the same.”
What a profound powerful statement!
“THIS” moment and the moment Creation began
is the SAME moment … and will ETERNALLY exist AS IT IS …
this statement completely dissolves the belief in time …
all sense of time and distance between the beginning God moment and “THIS” moment
is removed … closing the illusory gap between “then and now”…“there and here”
We somehow accepted that the moment of Creation …
the beginning God moment … was “long ago and far away” from THIS present moment …
and have been trying to get back to the beginning before
an imagined sense of separation …
“this moment you are in
is the same moment Creation began
and will eternally exist exactly as it is” …
IN THE BEGINNING … GOD …
There has never been a separation from that moment …
The beginning moment is the ONLY moment that IS,
that ever HAS BEEN and will ever BE
God … Silence Stillness Spaciousness …
being eternally AS IT IS!
Tom Carpenter’s glorious insightful quote is dissolving
an illusory sense of separation
between the moment Creation began and THIS moment …
HAS ANYTHING EVER ACTUALLY HAPPENED
FROM THE BEGINNING MOMENT … TO “THIS” MOMENT
… which is the SAME moment!
the one timeless eternal moment is changeless …
without time there can be no change …

We look through this world of conceptual appearances …
to the timeless moment
remaining eternally the same …
undisturbed by any appearance …
“Thoughts will come and go,
bodies seem to appear and disappear;
worlds will arise and fall
and this moment will remain eternally the same.”
this unfoldment is churning on …
leaving no time for beliefs or believers …
birth or death … good or evil …
past or future … heaven or hell …
they’re all thoughts that come and go
and THIS unconditioned moment remains eternally the same …
Yes, I have certainly been struck
and maybe there is something in Tom Carpenter’s quote
that will strike you …
It has in no uncertain terms forced me to take a “time out”
and open up to the timelessness of this eternal moment …
“Stop for a moment and consider that

William Blake could see through illusory sands of time …
He saw eternity in a grain of sand … how divinely sublime!

By illusory images appearing on it!
THE WORLD WE SEE IS NOT A PLACE
I was struck by these words from The Forgiveness Network …
“We cannot be too often reminded that the world we see is not a place.
It is literally a state of mind.”
The world is not a place – it’s a state of mind! …
a startling statement that makes us question our state of mind …
Is our mind a state of Oneness with a Source that is infinite Love Peace Joy …
or is it full of a belief in good AND evil … a belief in two powers which is
inseparable from a false sense of identity that lives out from that
knowledge of good and evil in a dual sense of existence …
The image and likeness of God cannot be aware of anything
unlike Its infinite unconditioned nature
THERE IS NO CAPACITY FOR OPPOSITES IN ONE INFINITE NATURE …
Growing up in a world where we were told this is good
and that is bad has piled on layers of good and evil conditioning …
To consciously identify with the One Unconditioned Source,
is to loosen the mythical grip of a belief in a mythical tree
with knowledge of good and evil that “we” supposedly ate of …
then, kicked out of Eden, the struggle began to maintain a selfhood
apart from the image and likeness of God …
in a world of appearances based on a belief in good and evil …
The world we see is not a place … it is a state of mind …
Imagine beholding a world from
a state of mind that is free of a belief in good and evil …
no capacity to judge … no power for good or evil in any form …
seeing through the eyes of Unconditioned Love …

OMG … I’VE MISSED MYSELF
I lived for umpteen years as a daughter, a college kid,
a wife and mother, a working girl and a business woman …
in the art world, the candy making world, the international cultural exchange world …
coordinating, scheduling, organizing … always involved and steeped in the part I was playing … identifying with the part … that’s who I thought I was …
Shakespeare told us the world is our stage and many parts we play …
do we ever stop and look beyond the parts we’re playing! …
if I strip off all the costumes, the masks,
the paraphernalia that went with all of them … WHO AM I!
Who was I before I was born … and who dies?
Who am I beyond that “me” … beyond all the changing parts …
What was there while all the parts were being played?
What is permanent … beyond the masquerade?
Have we ever paused long enough to ask? …
too busy with all the distractions we allow to consume our attention …
We get to a point, sooner or later, where our ever-present true identity …
through little glimpses of quiet insight … begins to come to light …
It’s been nudging us all along … but “we” were too tied up with a separate “me”…
trying to fulfill itself, to justify itself …
trying to fit into a world that it imagined was real …
how glorious to stop and pause and see …
we’re awakening to our true capacity!

GOD STANDING BY
Living out from a human sense of I
Leaves the image and likeness of God standing by
We’re functioning as finite mortal man
Excluding God completely from the plan
I and my Father are one … it must dawn
Unawareness of oneness can’t go on
God’s treasures are within us remaining stored
As long as our true identity is ignored
Behind the masks of “me” and “you”
Is the I of God we’re waking up to …
Closer than breathing … nearer than hands and feet
Is our very own Essence that we constantly greet …

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR WORLD
There is something I’ve come across several times and just sort of let it
go by … but now it’s coming up again and I can’t let it go by this time …
I thought I was dealing with just “me” and thinking I’m only responsible for what I
think and do … but I see that was sort of a false comfort zone which
let me off the hook for taking responsibility for ALL of my world …
This is the statement that I’ve resisted time and time again …
“We are responsible for EVERYTHING in our world” …
Wow! … to accept that EVERYTHING I’m aware of is a reflection
of something in me … and must be faced and met in me! …
All of my spiritual life … I have been dwelling on ONENESS …
ONE ONE ONE …
and that ONE … the One I am is the same ONE every ONE is …
and that ONE is GOD … PURE UNCONDITIONED SPIRITUAL ENERGY AWARENESS …
and forms in THAT IMAGE AND LIKENESS …
So EVERYTHING that we’re aware of
is truly God Consciousness formed and expressed …
and yet we’re constantly faced with material mortal images appearing as
“person,” “place,” “thing,” “circumstance” and “condition” …
and we have to take responsibility for ALL OF IT …
I remember reading an article about Mary Baker Eddy and someone
asked her if she was wealthy … her reply was “not as long as I see one poor person” …
So we’re all carrying around rich and poor conditioning … sick and well…
young and old … all the pairs of opposites .. while God’s pure changeless
unconditioned Nature is being individual Consciousness …
As human beings, we’re born into a state of good and evil conditioning
and live out from that until at some point something within alerts us
and we begin the wake-up journey …
As we grow and become unconditionally Aware,
we let go of old imposed conditioned beliefs of good and evil, right and wrong …
who we are and who we aren’t …
what is and what isn’t …
We’re becoming more Consciously Aware and living out from
clear judgment-free Space …
While we’re living more consciously, there is still unconscious stuff
that continues to pop up and kick in …
We recognize that stuff as old debris from past conditioning
and we don’t take it personally …
but meet it with love (Love is the realization of ONE) …
knowing it’s no part of our authentic Divine Nature …
There is a book title I came across that struck me …
“Feelings Buried Alive Never Die” …
There is no escape from facing every facet of our world …
and bringing it to Light …
Coming to terms with ONE WORLD, God’s Kingdom … and
dealing with “this world” while not being of it … is the work …
We keep the activity of truth alive
in our Consciousness …
I and my Father are one … God is Law …
God constitutes individual being …
There is no time or place where God is not …
Abiding in truth is meeting appearances with Light and Love
which dispels conditioning and judgments …
I think this is the way to take responsibility for everything in our world …
bringing the Light to bear on all that is in the moments of our life … xoxo

THE WORD “GOD”
I like the word “God” … it so resonates with me …
but I felt it was confusing and interpreted in so many different ways
that I was reluctant, in the beginning,
to use it in my bookmarks and notecards …
nevertheless, “God” so spoke to me … I had to use it …
I heard Leonard Jacobson talking about the word “God” … it resonates with him, too,
but he said it needs to be decontaminated …
we need to take the conditioning out of the word …
We’re told that God is too pure to behold iniquity …
too pure to know good and evil …
God is Unconditioned Awareness and knows nothing
about a two-power myth
stemming from a mythical tree with knowledge of good and evil …
How can INFINITE LOVING PEACEFUL JOYOUS AWARENESS
have an opposite or opposition!
There is peace in the realization of the Allness of God as the image and likeness
of every individual …
We are told to “judge not by appearances” …
the Kingdom of God is hidden and disguised by the belief in two powers …
That is the culprit that perpetuates a sense of separation from our true nature …
Leonard Jacobson says “God is the Silent Presence of everything that is Present.
To experience the Living Presence of God you must be PRESENT.”
ATTENTION ! ATTENTION!
Get your attention, please
Surrender to now
on bended knees
This is prayer … this is Grace
It’s how we meet God face to face
Be in the Present or God is missed
It’s the only time and place God can exist
Don’t let appearances distract and entice
Pay attention … that’s the price
In an instant God’s Presence is Present … it is so
And there’s no one separate to even know

WITHOUT A CAPACITY TO JUDGE!
After years of fighting and struggling to change, rearrange and fix everything and everybody … it finally dawned that there has to be another way to be and see. There is no way to live in peace, with ourself or others, until we come to some awareness of Oneness and an understanding of the nature of that One.
There is no peace in human nature … it is based on duality … on evil and good … those two powers fluctuating back and forth, constantly changing, We are conditioned day in and day out with beliefs that are imposed upon us. The belief in two powers, good and evil, is the dna (dual nature awareness) of humanhood … it is the basis of human existence.
The One true authentic Source, Nature, Essence since the beginningless beginning is UNCONDITIONED AWARENESS … too pure to behold iniquity. As we become acquainted with that Nature and accept it as the true Nature of all mankind, we begin to see the world anew. With the practice of giving up judgments of good and evil … we begin to lose the capacity to judge, We can almost feel good or evil thoughts stopped dead in their tracks … they find less and less reaction in us when we are consciously living out from UNCONDITIONED AWARENESS as our true Being. WHAT IS is WHAT IS and it’s okay without imposed good or evil judgments … xoxo

THE ONE SOURCE EXPRESSING INDIVIDUALLY, NEVER PERSONALLY
The ONE SOURCE, infinite and indivisible, is individually expressing. That all-knowing Love and Peace is fully inherent in every ONE …no matter what is apparent in the visible, Wholeness and Completeness is ever-present. In the beginningless beginning, there was Essence (Omniscient Omnipotent Omnipresent) … that Essence is eternally unfolding in infinite variety of form and expression … individually, never personally …
The ONE I doesn’t know about persons … only ITSELF, the ONE I, the ONE Nature, the ONE Essence … individually expressing. Indivisible ONENESS makes no sense in humanhood, which is based on separation, duality, pairs of opposites, good and evil … a me separate from a you and appearances of many separate from each other.

To Know OurSelf Aright Is the Beginning of a Divine Romance
I was inspired by this lovely insightful comment from Contemplative Pathways …

When the tiniest stir within occurs, the journey within has begun and there is no turning back …
No matter how many detours or obstacles seem to appear … the journey is ongoing …
I question and ponder morning noon and night
Surrendering again and again to the inner Light
I keep shoveling through all the conditioning and debris
To get to the truth in the midst of me
What’s behind the highs and lows
And everything that comes and goes?
The quest for the changeless pushes me on
Closer than breathing … it must dawn
We dig for answers in our inner church
The sanctuary where we learn to search
What a journey … what a quest!
Those who embark are truly blessed!
Our original unconditioned inherent nature has never left us … nothing has ever entered that original authentic nature to defile or maketh a lie …
If I and my Father are ONE … why is there such a struggle to get back to that One? … there is a belief that we are separate … ONE INFINITE CREATIVE PRINCIPLE OF LIFE leaves no room for anyone or anything to be separate … there is nothing outside of infinity …
As we dwell on the nature of that ONE … (our own individual nature … the nature of every ONE) … we begin to identify with that nature instead of a finite mortal sense of self …
What is the nature of that ONE?
OMNIPRESENCE … All Presence … undisturbed by appearances … judge not by the way things look …
OMNISCIENCE … all-knowing wisdom … we don’t have to tell IT anything … just open up to IT and LISTEN …
OMNIPOTENCE … ALL power … no opposite … no opposition …. Judge not by appearances
We are confronted with a world of very convincing appearances … persons, places, things, conditions and circumstances … as we develop the practice of abiding in Omnipresence, Omniscience and Omnipotence and withdrawing judgments of good or evil from all appearances, we will begin to see the world anew…
A belief in a separation from God is just a belief …
